ADVOCACY SERVICES
We have seen an increasing need for advocacy in the financial services industry.
Saracens is well-placed to offer advice, whether the circumstances are as a consequence of poor financial advice leading to loss, FOS (Financial Ombudsman Service) actions against financial service providers, or advocacy in other quasi-legal proceedings.
Saracens is also able to offer ‘expert witness’ representation to legal firms on financial services. Where a legal case requires the expert opinion of a financial planning practitioner, we are able to report on various areas of the financial planning profession.
To date, Saracens has undertaken a small number of these proceedings and we have had a very positive success rate with very good financial outcomes for our clients.
